The conferences that our Florida HOSA members can attend are far more than just competition.
The Fall Leadership Development Academy (FLDA) is held in November and features workshops with out-of-your-seat activities which are used to introduce and reinforce various leadership attributes. Lively teamwork, with a measure of fun thrown in, makes this event one of the most popular. The camp setting, complete with a hayride, campfire, and s’mores, also adds to the enjoyment!
Our largest conference, the State Leadership Conference (SLC), has more than 3,000 members coming together to create magic! The general sessions are exciting and fun-filled with dynamic speakers, numerous awards, and unforgettable moments! When not involved with their competition, the HOSA University can provide a unique and invigorating method to strengthen our members’ leadership skills. In addition, members have the opportunity to visit exhibitors representing various educational institutions, health care industries, and promotional businesses.
The International Leadership Conference (ILC) has surpassed 12,000 attendees with HOSA members competing against the best from each State Association and around the world! Enlightening symposia, electrifying general sessions, and extreme networking are on the agenda at this mega-conference!
